It's alive! Ride of the Living Dead Mountain Bike Ride!

Looking for a great off-road ride?  
Our north store, Greenway Bicycles, is holding a really cool Halloween ride!

Please join us for our 3rd Annual Ride of the Living Dead - Saturday, October 27, 2012!  
Ride starts at Ross Prairie Trailhead at 9 am!

There are three route options:
 - to 49th Street - 15 miles
 - to Landbridge Trailhead - 25 miles
 - to Santos Trailhead - 50 miles

Ride will have three supported SAG stops, and we will be serving food, beer and spooky snacks at Ross Prairie Trailhead after the ride!  

Costumes are encouraged!!!  We have great prizes for the costume contest, including a Muc-Off cleaning kit!

Early registration is $20 and ends tomorrow!  After October 20 and day-of registration cost is $30. The ride is sponsored by Greenway Bicycles, Ocala Bicycle Center and Office of Greenways and Trails!

Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day!

IMBA, OMBA (Ocala Mountain Bike Association) and Greenway Bicycles (our Ocala store) are teaming up to celebrate the eighth annual International Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day on Saturday, October 1, 2011. This is a great opportunity for you to pass your passion for pedaling on to kids!

In support of First Lady Michelle Obama's Let's Move! initiative, IMBA has pledged to get 30,000 children participating in 300 cycling events October 1.

Plan to go mountain biking... and bring the kids along for the ride!

Cost is free, and we will have a cookout after the ride!

Why: In preparation for the FTF in March, we will be adding clay to the pump track to re-shape the rollers and the berms! Gotta make it flow again, like new!

Yes, the rumor is true... Retro City Cycles is opening a second bike shop! We are the proud owners of Greenway Bicycles, located at the entrance to Santos Trailhead and Campground in Ocala - 3085 SE 80th Street! We have started the build-out of our new shop and look to be open by the beginning of January. Stay tuned!
