For the 5th year in a row Jamis has once again won Bicycling Magizne's Editors' Choice.
Quoted from the Bicycling Magizne review
"With a nearly complete Shimano Ultegra drive train and full carbon for, the Ventura Elite was lauded for delivering true recession-busting-value...The Ventura Elite was praised for its lively ride and predictable handling; it's less decidedly race-focused than Cannondale's Six Carbon 5 and offers better spec's than Trek's refined 2.3. The Ventura elite sprints to the win with the best possible attributes for theprice."
Have you ever said "I'd commute to work by bike if I had a better/safer/easier route"?
Well, save your excuses, this guy has trumped you. We passed this cyclist riding his bike on I-4 when we were on our way to Tampa last week! The saying holds true: a bicycle really will take you anywhere you want to go!
Has your tire ever looked like this? Makes for a very long walk home!?
Please attend our FREE bicycle maintenance clinic on Wednesday, May 27, at 6 pm, and we'll show you how to take your tire from flat to fat. We will show you how to repair a flat tire, and also other bicycle tuning techniques to help keep your bike riding smoothly.
Please bring your own wheel, or we have one you can borrow. Refreshments will be served!
This weekend is the MS Bike Tour, where we will ride 150 miles from Bok Tower to Sea World... and back!
Dano and I have been participating in this event for many years. The MS Society does an excellent job coordinating the ride, marking the trail, and feeding us! But more importantly, we are riding to raise money to find a cure for MS. Our Aunt Cathy has MS, and 200 people are diagnosed with MS each week. Until we find a cure, we will keep riding. And once we find a cure... we will still keep riding... for all of those who cannot.
Jess and Dano Kinnee opened Retro City Cycles in March 2007 to share their love of cycling with everyone in the Central Florida area. He is also an expert mountain bike racer, staying very involved in local races and club rides in the Southeast.
